About the Journal
The Iraqi Journal of Applied Physics Letters (IJAPLett) was established in 2008, with its first issue published in April 2008. It was published and sponsored by the Iraqi Society for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources and Techniques (ISAREST). It continued to be published in 2008, 2009, and 2010. In July 2010, ISAREST decided to suspend publication of the journal due to a limited number of research papers being published and the fact that a number of Iraqi universities did not consider the published letters as research articles.
In 2020, an agreement was reached between ISAREST and the American Quality for Scientific Publishing (AQSP) institution to transfer ownership of IJAPLett to AQSP, which would resume publication of the journal starting in January 2021 and continuing to the present day.
No issues of IJAPLett were published during the period 2011-2020. Nevertheless, the journal's archive for the years 2008-2010 is still available on the official website of IJAPLett.
The Iraqi Journal of Applied Physics Letters (IJAPLett) is a peer-reviewed journal of high quality devoted to publishing original research letters from applied physics and their broad range of applications. IJAPLett publishes quality original research letters in physics and its applications in the broadest sense. It is intended that the journal may act as an interdisciplinary forum for physics and its applications. Innovative applications and materials that bring together diverse areas of physics are particularly welcome. IJAPLett aims to disseminate knowledge; provide a learned reference in the field; and establish communication channels between academic and research experts, policy makers, and executives in industry, commerce, and investment institutions.
