This study investigates the effect of 60 kGy gamma irradiation on MWCNT–Ag nanocomposites synthesized via green reduction using Melia azedarach leaf extract. Structural characterization by XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, and EDX revealed enhanced crystallinity, improved Ag nanoparticles dispersion, and selective surface modifications post-irradiation. The MWCNT framework remained intact, confirming the stability of the composite. These results highlight gamma irradiation as an effective post-synthesis tool for optimizing nanocomposite properties for catalytic and biomedical applications.
